To ensure successful verification, we recommend using a German IBAN or bank card along with any German passport or ID card, or an ID card from one of the accepted countries.

• If you're using a passport for verification: Make sure that the country of your IBAN or bank card matches the country stated in your identity document — or simply use a German IBAN or bank card.
• If you're using an ID card for verification: When paying by bank card, your ID card must be linked to a German bank card.

When paying via IBAN, please ensure that the IBAN country matches the country on your ID card, or use a German IBAN.
