We’re sorry to see you go! But if you've decided to leave, you can port your number to another provider for free. Just send us a transfer request in your personal account. In your personal account, click on your number at the top of the screen — there you will find all the options related to transferring your number.
Also, make sure to inform your new operator that you'd like to port over your number from NAKED.
Your number will be reserved for you for 90 days after ending your contract. During this period, you can send a transfer request at any time and specify the desired date. Since transfers take up to 8 days, don’t wait until the last minute! Keep in mind: if more than 90 days pass after ending your contract, porting the number won’t be possible anymore.
The transfer date depends on when you submit your request. Here’s how it works:
If you submit your porting request on or before the 20th of a month, your number will be transferred and your NAKED mobile contract will end effective from the 1st of the following month.
Example: Request submitted on May 15 → transfer completed on June 1.
If you submit your porting request after the 20th of a month, your number transfer is scheduled for the 1st of the month after the next.
Example: Request submitted on May 25 → transfer completed on July 1.
Why the gap? This period allows both operators (your new one and NAKED mobile) to process the request and ensure a seamless switch.
If you submit your porting request on or before the 20th of a month and the new operator confirms it, your contract will end on the last calendar day of that same month.
If you submit your porting request after the 20th of a month and the new operator confirms it, your contract will end on the last calendar day of the following month.
Absolutely! You can do this in your personal account — as long as the new operator hasn't started processing your request yet.
It's easy to check:
- If you can still see an active "Cancel request" button in your account, just click it to stop the transfer.
- If the button is no longer active, it means the process is already underway with the new operator, and we can't cancel it from our side.
So, if you change your mind, it's best to act quickly.
