Luxembourg, officially the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, is a small landlocked country in Western Europe. It is bordered by Belgium to the west and north, Germany to the east, and France to the south.
With a population of around 626,000, Luxembourg is one of the smallest countries in Europe but has one of the highest GDPs per capita in the world. The country is known for its financial services sector, steel industry, and as a founding member of the European Union.
Luxembourg is a constitutional monarchy and a member of the European Union, NATO, and other major international organizations. Its capital, Luxembourg City, is home to several EU institutions and is a major financial center.
